Considered a "Must-Play" for those golfing in Sarasota. Located south, three miles off I-75 at exit 179 (Toledo Blade Blvd) on terrain that seldom floods regadless of the downpour - open Always.
Bobcat Trail Golf Club was rated as a 'must play 4 1/2 star course' by Golf Digest and voted one of Florida's top 30 golf courses in 2003. The Bobcat Golf Club is located halfway between Sarasota and Fort Myers and is three miles from Interstate 75.

The Bobcat Trail, also known as 'The Cat' is about 40 minutes from international airports in the area and close to the beaches at Siesta Key and Venice and the multitude of shopping, dining, fishing, and boating opportunities in the area.
The Golf Club provides the finest golf in the area along with practice and teaching sessions. The club also serves fabulous food and offers a fully stocked 19th hole. Tee times at the course are available a week in advance.
The Bobcat Trail Golf Club has a golf course that is 6,748 yards and is one among a handful of 4 ½ star golf venues in Sarasota County. Bob Tway, former PGA champion, and architect Lee Singletary designed the course. The course here can be a rewarding challenge and a unique playing experience for golfers of all skills. Each one of the 18 holes on this course is a signature hole and has a unique 'risk reward' design.
The Bobcat Trail continues its commitment to excellence as its complex has been revamped. The renovation includes the Champion greens, the clubhouse, bunker modifications, and golf cars with GPS. In effect, 'The Cat' has improved its total golfing experience and taken it to the next level.
If you're interested in playing at this course, you can book tee times on the Bobcat Trail Golf Club web page well in advance. The current golf rates are $79 for morning, $59 before 8 a.m. and after 12 p.m., and $35 after 3 p.m. If you're in town for the weekend, you can take advantage of the Saturday Special - $69 morning 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. You also get a free sleeve of golf balls as part of the package.
The Bobcat Trail golf shop is no ordinary golf shop. This store carries the latest in custom fit equipment for men, women and juniors including shoes, golf bags, and clothing. Its brand of accessories include Nike, Foot Joy, Callaway, Cobra, Titleist, AP Players, Izod Club, Ashworth, Bobby Chan, Bette & Court, Ping and Cutter & Buck. In fact, the golf shop has everything for the golfer in you and that includes personalized gifts and awards, along with golf art and posters, watches and jewelry as well as golf novelties and collectibles.
The Golf Club's Bobcat Café serves lunch seven days a week. The Café mostly serves sandwiches and salads along with a number of homemade cuisine. The menu also includes some fun recipes from the U.S. and from around the world.
In addition, the Bobcat Trail Golf Club is also a great venue for all your special events - wedding, social gathering, cocktail party, family get-together, business meeting, and receptions of all kinds.
