Sabal Trace is located near US 41 in North Port, Florida and is a series of communities that includes single-family estate homes, villas surrounding a golf course, and condominiums. Sabal Trace is conveniently located near restaurants, and shopping areas. The beaches in Englewood, Venice, and Punta Gorda are just 20 minutes away.
This semi-private golf course with four tees ranging from 6,755 to 5,244 yards is located south of Sarasota in North Port.
Pro Shop and lessons from PGA professional are available. Tee times for non-members are taken five days in advance.
Sabal Trace Golf and Country Club
Sabal Trace is the first golf course community in North Port consisting of oversized home suites and large-sized homes. Most of these were constructed in the 1980s. The golf and country club is open to the public and provides a classic 180-hole golf course according to Florida regulation. The course has gentle rolling hills, and ample challenges for golfers of any level. The course includes 5,580 yards of golf and a par 72, and was put together by Charles Androm and Gordon Lewis. It opened in 1972 and has a course rating of 70.9, and a slope rating of 122.
The Country Club includes a driving range, a practice bunker, a putting and chipping green, along with a club that includes and beverage service. Golfers in the area consider the Sabal Trace to be one of the most fun courses in the region, particularly for its well-spaced landing areas and distinct water hazards. The Sabal Trace golf course features a mix of rolling terrain reflecting true Florida style and offers four sets of tees that give golfers room for high scores. The clubhouse at Sabal Trace also includes a pool and fitness center.
The hallmark of Sabal Trace Golf & Country Club is chic country club living. The Club is perceived to be a desirable choice for both young and old, active adults as it is touted to have one of the most extensive 18-hole championship golf courses in the Gulf Coast area. North Port is also a convenient location.
This beautiful Sabal Trace gated community is especially appealing to senior citizens and families. The country club has been constructed with the idea of merging nature and harmony. The neighborhood is graced with native trees, canals and ponds that cater to the esthetic tastes of families and individuals.
The community at Sabal Trace is deed restricted and has safe sidewalks, underground utilities, streetlights, and public water. New construction consists of villas and condos that are maintenance free and have lake and golf views. New large single-family residences and estate homes are also part of the new construction.
Membership at the Sabal Trace Golf and Country Club is available. Tee times at the semi-private course need to be submitted five days in advance for non-members. PGA professionals are available in case you need lessons. The Club invites visitors to come by the clubhouse for a tour of its facilities and services. Currently, there are no discount tee times for Sabal Trace Golf and Country Club. Fees at the club are $45 on weekends and weekdays, and $32 twilight fees. The fees include a golf cart.
The Colony at Sable Trace is less than an hour away from the Venice, Nokomis and Englewood beaches and 90 miles from Tampa, 60 miles from Fort Myers, and 30 miles from Sarasota.
