Every fairway on this course is bordered with live oak forests and dense vegetation, offering some spectacular scenes while you play. Misty Creek Country Club has been highlighted by Audubon International for its environmental excellence and certified as a Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary.

Misty Creek is a well planned golf course and is influence by the landscape's natural topography and not by sites where homes are built. The Club has a full staffed pro shop, reciprocal summer playing privileges at other private golf courses, men's and women's golf associations, and junior golf program available.

The Country Club also offers an expanded practice facility - driving range, large putting green, and a full-scale short game area. The Misty Creek provides a clubhouse that has a dining room, bar & lounge along with a snack bar. The snack bar is perfect if you can take a break during play. The golf course has some of the best greens in the Greater Sarasota area. This is golf course for serious golfers and is set against a backdrop of 350 acres or preserve along with lakes and hammock forests.

Misty Creek golf course is a 72 championship-course and has four sets of forward tees to 6,895 from the back tees. Every hole is memorable in this course as it is a Ted McAnlis course. The golf experience is enhanced as native trees, wetlands and the wild life. Meanwhile, the wilderness setting also includes large amounts of deer, alligators, bobcat and wild boar. It also has about 70 different species of birds. In case you feel like taking some snapshots in between your swings, don't forget to bring your camera along.

In addition, Misty Creek Country Club hosts charitable and corporate golfing events from benefits for youth, church, charitable and business organizations. Qualified PGA pros are on hand to assist you in planning and executing these programs. The trained food and beverage staff are also ready to lend a hand. Each visitor to the Club is made to feel as if he or she was a member for a day, here at Misty Creek. Hence, the Club has gained its reputation as the one of the premier clubs in the area.

The clubhouse at the Misty Creek overlooks the golf course. The clubhouse is stocked with locker rooms for men and women, a dining room and lounge. The snack bar is open seven days a week from 9am - 3pm and serves soup and beverages as well as snacks and sandwiches. The dining room is also open for lunch on all seven days, from 11 am - 3pm. On Saturday, breakfast is from 7 - 11am, while breakfast on Sunday is from 7 - noon. The Club hosts a Friday night casual dining from 6 - 8 pm. And there is also a Monday night buffet from 6 - 8 pm.
