The IMG Academics Golf and Country Club is a part of large community that also comprises of residential complexes. This golf course was inaugurated in 1972. Later in the year 1980, it was chartered as a private county club. Initially the course was of 6,673 yards, but with a renovation of $2.5 million by Gene Bates Golf Design, the course was turned into one of the most advanced and scenic places in the region. Presently the course is lengthened to 6,885 yards from the back tees. The new grass of the course consists of modern and updated hybrid features. This renovation project also replaced the irrigation drainage system, and provided better practice facilities, and rebuilt the sand traps.

Other than a marvelous golf course, the IMG Academics Golf and Country Club offers a number of other facilities and services to the members. The clubhouse of IMG is well-maintained as well as spacious, and has a seating capacity of 400 persons.
