The Pelican Pointe Golf and Country Club is a 27-hole par 72 course with some memberships available to non-residents as well. The club is more than a golf course and comprises of exclusive features of residential villas, wildlife, etc

The Pelican Pointe Golf and Country Club is an award winning 27-hole golf course situated at Venice, Florida. This is one of the most supreme golf courses in southwest Florida with beautiful surroundings all around. Along with a game of golf, you also experience the calm and soothing atmosphere amidst the wildlife preserves, wetlands, grand live oaks, and winding streams. Apart from being one of the best courses in the region, the Pelican Pointe Golf and Country Club is also a primary rated residential community and offers other attractions like dining, banquet facilities, and wildlife.
The Pelican Pointe Golf and Country Club is fore mostly known for its golf course. It is the best rated courses in the area and is thus awarded with the 'Reader's Choice' award every year since 2001. The staff of the club tends to maintain the existing high standards of the course and offer finest facilities to the members. This 27-hole course was designed by Ted McAnlis. Initially, in the year 1995, the course was opened with original 18 holes of golf, the 'Meadow' and 'Preserve' nine. In 2002, the 'Hatchet' side was opened for public access. The varying range of 5,326 yards to 7,182 yards offers different combinations of nines, and thus give the golfers a chance to play various golf hole designs. The golfers can also take advantage of the practice facilities on an 8,000 square feet space with features like chipping green, putting green, pitching green, and green side practice bunker.
The Pelican Pointe is a first class residential community with over 1,355 villas and house sites. The lake view around the residential complex is mostly seen from all houses and villas. The community is managed by the Homeowners Association. The residents of the Pelican Pointe residential community are the social members of the club and are given access to the club's tennis courts, fitness center, social functions, and swimming pool.
The Grille restaurant at the country club offers fresh beverages and delicious food items with exclusive services. The lunch at the Grille is served between 11am to 3 pm and mainly comprises of homemade soups, seasonal salads, and traditional lunch food. The dining of the Pelican Pointe is also famous for the award winning brunch served every Sunday between 11 am to 3 pm, which features turkey, lamb, roast beef, carved ham, seafood, etc. The club at Venice also offers extraordinary banquet facilities for special events and occasions. The banquet hall at the club has a capacity to accommodate and serve 250 guests. The main attractions of the Pelican Pointe banquet services include organizing themed events, high class menus, and cocktails.
