The 9-hole "Oaks 9" course at the Heron Creek Golf & Country Club in North Port Annex consists of 3,418 yards of golf. The Oaks 9 golf course was unveiled in 1999 and was designed by Arthur Hills, ASGCA.

Elevation changes unique to Florida and sparkling water features are part of the course design. The variety and challenges laid out at the Oaks, Marsh and Creek Nine courses offer an experience unlike any other at the Heron Creek. It is an experience you will want to repeat.
Golf is not the only activity you can enjoy at Heron Creek. The Fitness Center Clubhouse is a good place to get a head start on your day. The center is fully equipped with exercise equipment like stationary bikes and other state-of-the-art fitness machines to get you into shape - all in air-conditioned comfort. You can achieve all your fitness goals right here without leaving the community. Locker rooms and saunas are also available for your convenience.

There's more to Heron Creek than just fitness, as the main clubhouse is the central point of social activities at the Heron Creek Golf & Country Club. This building opened in 2005 is the result of much planning and is the finest such structure in the vicinity of North Port and South Sarasota County.
The design of the clubhouse is unique in that it is a two-level design that takes in 21,000 square feet of real estate. The upper level on the main floor includes the dining room, private, dining room, grill room, kitchen, along with administrative offices, restrooms and meeting rooms. The dining areas are connected to adjacent patios and decks.
The grill room is aptly named The Heron's Roost as it is ideal for business lunches, a simple delicious meal, or a casual lunch or dinner with family or friends. The highlight of this room is a beautifully crafted bar. The grill room provides LUNCH from 11am to 3 pm. On Sundays, the same menu is available from 11am to 6 pm.
