Myakka Pines Golf Club is a semi-private golf club and is situated in Sarasota County on southwest coast of Florida. It is accessible from Interstate 75, U.S. Rte. 41 or Route 776.
Since the "Golf Club" has no big expenses related to maintaining elaborate facilities, the Myakka Pines is one of the most affordable, quality clubs in the area for golfers. The Club is governed by its Board of Directors, hand-picked from its members each year.
The Myakka Pines is known for its courteous staff and a full-time golf professional to assist you in your game. A fully equipped golf shop is also on the premises to meet your golfing equipment needs. The club is also outfitted with a putting green, a practice range, along with a chipping green - feel free to practice with any club that you have with you.
The golf course at the Myakka Pines Golf Club consists of 27 holes that are segmented into three separate courses - the Red, White and Blue courses. When you put them all together, there are 18 holes that make the golf here very interesting indeed.
Every nine-hole course has its own unique attributes. For men, the courses are 3100 yards, while the women play on courses running 2800 yards, while the blue tees are 3350 yards. These courses are a fair test of your game, since it can be enjoyed by the low handicapper, the average player and the skilled golfer.
The courses here are also embedded with lakes and shrouded by the natural fauna native to Florida. And there are no developments on the property, so you have a great view across the course. In fact, it is quite possible for you to see various birds and animals during your round of golf.
If you'd like to become a member here, it is possible for you to own your golf cart. And you would have to pay a nominal trail fee to store the cart on the premises. In addition, members can choose to walk at any time. To book your tee-times, contact the management at Myakka Pines four days in advance and start at 7:30 am, while tee-times for non-members start at 9:00 am. Soft spikes and proper attire are required for play.
The dining room and snack bar at the Myakka Pines Golf Club provide you with an early breakfast right before tee-time, a snack during play, or lunch after your golf round.
