Mission Valley Country Club was founded in 1967 and is a member-owned private country club. Situated in Venice in southwest Florida, the premier club has a convenient location between major highways. The golf course at the Club has a backdrop of a peaceful country setting along with lakes to provide fabulous views. The championship course is tree-lined and was meant to be 'walker-friendly' so that golfers do not have to cross roads. The course also has tee boxes located near to the previous green.

On average, a single round of golf is about 4 hours - sometimes less. Range balls are provided and there are putting, chipping and sand practice areas available on a 3-tiered driving range. In the May to October season, reciprocity of privileges is provided with 20 private clubs. The Club also hosts social golfing and tennis events for its members and has some exquisite daily dining selections.

In 2006, the Club underwent a $2 million modernization that added a new look to the venue. The golf pro shop on the premises is manage by seasoned professionals with Jim Duval of the Duval golfing family at its helm.

The Club also has 3 Har-Tru tennis courts along with catering and banquet services that are open to the general public. The newly revamped country club can hold as many as 250 people if you're planning for a corporate event or wedding. Mission Valley is an ideal setting for your special day. The newly revamped Clubhouse accommodates 245 people. And the wedding package at the club takes care of all the fine details from the hors d'oeuvres to the champagne. Whatever theme you choose for your wedding, the club strives toward a practice of excellence.

Dining at the Mission Valley is open seven days a week for lunch, while dinner at the club is available four nights a week during the season November - April. You have the option of dining in the formal dining room or at the casual Grille room. During the off-season, May-October, dinner is served three nights a week. The club offers Family Night with a la carte dining on Wednesdays. On Friday evenings, the club alternates between themed TGIF dinners and the 'Couples Nine and Dine' that offers nine holes of golf, followed by a scrumptious buffet. A la Carte dining is also available during the Nine and Dines.

The Club's popular buffet dinner is available every Sunday evening; however, a la carte service is also available. This has come to be a tradition at the Club after Sunday golf. Complimenting the gourmet kitchen is a full beverage selection with a wide range of fine wines by the bottle or glass. Beer is also featured among beverages. And to top it all off, the most exquisite of mixed drinks and liqueurs are also offered.
